PURPOSE:To make unnecessary other communication equipment and communication means, by using a DC current supply circuit to a submarine repeater and performing talking between both cable terminal stations through flowing voice current directly. CONSTITUTION:In case of transmission, transmitted voice is converted into an electric signal with the transmitter 18 of a DC current supply circuit 14 to a submarine repeater 6 of one terminal station and the result is fed to a variable equalizer 30 via a switch 23 through a variable attnueator 21 and a transmitting amplifier 22 via a switch 19. Further, the attenuation is compensated at the variable equalizer 30 and the signal is transmitted to a cable 5 via an impedance converting transformer 27 and a DC interrupting element 28. On the other hand, in case of reception, the reception signal fed from a cable 6 passes through opposite path as the case with transmission and is fed to a reception auxiliary amplifier 25 via a switch 23 and a reception amplifier 24 and converted into voice at a receiver 26. |
