<p>PURPOSE:To permit a simple constitution to perform the color display of the PPI image ready to observe by irradiating a fluorescent screen coated with fluorescent substances having different afterglow characteristics by radar images and additional signals having different scanning rates. CONSTITUTION:By an image signal from an image signal amplifier 6, the fluorescent screen of a cathode ray tube 7 coated with fluorescent substances having different afterglow characteristics is irradiated at a slow scanning rate according to a PPI sweep signal based on an antenna rotation signal outputted by a PPI sweep generator 3, and the color display of the radar image corresponding to the fluorescent screen having slow afterglow characteristics is provided. On the other hand, while the image signal stops at the slow scanning, the fluorescent screen of the cathode ray tube 7 is irradiated by a successively renewed vector signal srom a vector generator 2 through a computer 1 at a fast scanning rate from the computer 1. This permits the display of vector or the like by a neutral tint between the colors corresponding to the characteristics of the two fluorescent substances different from the radar image color. Therefore, a simple constitution can provide a color display system ready to observe.</p> |
