<p>A deodorant composition which prevents the formation of unpleasant odors due to bacterial decomposition of perspiration comprises a cosmetic carrier and, as the active component, a mixture of at least one weak organic acid and at least one salt of a weak organic acid and an aminated organic compound. The composition on application to the desired area of the body maintains the pH of the perspiration at a value of about 3 to 6.</p> |
