<p>The equipment separates adjacent animal stalls, partic. for mulch cows, and has two stirrups protruding from the fodder trough into the rear part of the stalls and swinging on a vertical post near the former between a parallel shut position and a V-shaped open one. In the latter they are supported by arms hinging on a vertical pivot pin. Each arm (12,13) hinges on a stirrup (14,15), and the vertical pivot pin (10) is guided in an elongated hole (11) running along the lengthwise centre line. The dimensions of the hole are such that in the open position the pin is at one end and the arms are at an angle to each other less than 180 degrees with its apex towards the free stirrup ends.</p> |
