PURPOSE:To perform the removal of HCl economically by heating and decomposing the NH4Cl of the product of reaction then capturing the HCl by Ca-base compound and regenerating NH3 or NH4OH at the time of removing the HCl contained in the exhaust gas of a combustion furnace by means of NH3 or NH4OH. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas from a waste incineration furnace A is passed through heat exchangers C, D to recover sensible heat, after which it is admitted into a reacting tower E. In this reacting tower E, NH3 is admitted from the lower part and NH4OH water G is sprayed from the upper part to convert the HCl contained in the exhaust gas to NH4Cl. This is put into an electric dust collector H, where it is captured of incineration ash and NH4Cl and this put into a rotary kiln I and is heated to >=(300-338 deg.C). The NH4Cl is again decomposed to HCl and NH3 and the incineration ash is put into an ash reservoir J. The mixed gases are admitted into a packed tower K. The HCl reacts with the CaO, CaCO3, Ca(OH)2 etc. in the tower K and is removed as CaCl2L. The NH3 is used by being circulated again to the reacting tower E; therefore, the removal of the HCl is accomplished at low costs.
|
