<p>An arrangement measures currents with direct components in loads in circuits with high voltages subject to sudden changes w.r.t. a reference potential using a shunt and differential amplifier measurement circuit. It is applicable to measurement of current in a diagonal circuit of a current regulator for a d.c. motor in a bridge circuit. It ensures accurate d.c. voltage measurement with simple in phase h.v. suppression. The shunt (Sh) is connected in circuit sections carrying current only at intervals and at low voltage w.r.t. the reference. An additional sensor consisting of a current converter (SW) connected in series with the load (M) has a time constant large in comparison to the current carrying intervals. The sensor signals are used to regulate their difference in the current converter secondary circuit to zero so that the measurement voltage (JMW) corresp. to the load (M) current.</p> |
