PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inexpensive film, capable of being incinerated, having improved heat insulating property without adhesion of waterdrops, sagging due to moisture absorption and cracking due to shrinkage, by mixing ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with a specific saponified copolymer thereof, and forming a film from the mixture. CONSTITUTION:(A) 98-50wt% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing 5- 40wt% vinyl acetate is mixed with (B) 2-50wt% a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, which contains 15-55mol% ethylene, and has a saponification degree >=80mol% of the vinyl acetate component and a melt viscosity ratio of the copoly- mer kept at 230 deg.C for 30min to that kept at 230 deg.C for 10min >=1.0. The resultant mixture is then formed into a film. Preferably, the amounts of the polymers (A) and (B) are 97-70wt% and 3-30wt%. A plasticizer, a stabilizer, etc. are mixed therewith if necessary. |
