PURPOSE:To make mechanism simple, smaller in size and light in weight by forming the electrostatic latent images in a reverse image relation with an original picture on a recording sheet, developing these with the magnetic toner contg. a dye which sublimates or evaporates at 70 deg.C-260 deg.C then fixing the same under pressure thereby making a dye master. CONSTITUTION:A condensing type optical transmission body array 1 using optical fibers moves parallel with a recording sheet 4 together with a light source 3, and the electrostatic latent images becoming laterally opposite from the original picture of an original 2 are formed on a sheet 4. Upon completion of the latent image formation, the recording sheet 4 is conveyed to a developing part 9, where developing is performed by the magnetic toner 8. The recording sheet after the developing passes between a pair of pressure-contacted rolls 13a, 13b and the magnetic toner images are fixed by pressure onto recording paper, whereby the dye master is made. The dye master is superposed on the image receiving surface having affinity to dye vapors and is heated to above the evaporating or sublimating temperature of the dye, whereby dyeing is accomplished. |
