PURPOSE:To make it possible to total the sale information automatically, which are collected from respective terminals, in the center side immediately and surely, by transmitting sale information from respective terminal to the center side through the transmission part and by receiving and totalizing this information in the center side. CONSTITUTION:In the terminal side such as the register corner of a super store, when a customer brings articles, the register clerk reads price information and so on of tags, which are stuck to respective articles, with reader 1. In this reader, read information is recognized immediately by the internal recognizing part. Transmission part 2 transmits this recognition information to transmission part 4 as a facsimile signal on a basis of the control from scanning part 3. In the center side, price information and so on are restored from the receiving signal by receiving part 5, and this restored data is totaled in totaling part 7. Consequently, by this POS (sale time information control) system, sale data obtained in respective terminals can be automatically totaled surely in the center side immediately. |
