PURPOSE:To make image quality better and srabler by detecting the thickness of recording paper by mechanical or electrical means and so constituting the device that the lower electrode device is moved according to the thickness of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:When the thickness of recording paper 6 changes while the recording paper 6 is moving by being positioned of its upper limit by positioning rollers 4, revolving rollers 3 move like arrows 8. The revolving roller 3 and a lower electrode 2 are universally coupled by a link mechanism 9 having freely rotative pin coupling, and the link mechanism 9 is connected to a casing 11 by means of freely rotative pin coupling; therefore the electrode moves simultaneously by following up the movement of the revolving roller 3. Since the link mechanism 9 is of a system having the characteristics of moving parallel, the revolving roller 3 and under electrode 2 move by the same extent of movement. In this way, the quality of images may be improved and stabilized. |
