PURPOSE:To prevent fluctuation of the reproduced picture screen even though the residual jitter may exist and thus increase the quality of picture for the picture recorder/reproducer which gives the record/reproduction to the converted signals of several channels produced through the Hadamard conversion or the like method and by means of the multi-channel head. CONSTITUTION:The impulse signal is superposed on the area near the back porch phase of the record-side image via the impulse generator 20. On the other hand, the impulse signal is isolated from the reproduction-side video signal via the impulse isolator 21. Then the relative phase variation between the isolated pulse signal and the horizontal synchronous signal to be added to the reproduction-side video signal is detected through the phase comparator 22. Thus the phase modulator 25 gives a phase control to the horizontal synchronous signal by the phase variation output, and at the same time the horizontal synchronous signal is added to the reproduction- side video signal. As a result, the fluctuation of the reproduced picture screen can be prevented even though the residual jitter may exist, thus increasing the picture quality. |
