PURPOSE:To prevent the fluorescent screen formed inside a panel and the position of its opposed shadow mask from changing by eliminating the pre-baking process and the thermal distortion of the shadow mask. CONSTITUTION:At least two-color fluorescent substances ar coated inside the panel 2 of a cathode-ray tube and a fluorescent screen 6 is formed. After a bimetal 9 and a spring 10 are connected to a frame 8, air or gas blackening is performed for them at 500 to 580 deg.C and an aperture 8 is connected and secured at specified dimensions. Such an assembled shadow mask is combined with the panel 2. |
