EXTRUSION MOLDING DIE FOR FLAT PLATE

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled die which is more uniform in plate thickness and capable of extruding and molding a flat plate homogeneous in density of material by a method wherein there is equipped the 2nd restrictor having a shallower passage behind the 1st restrictor on which rails parallel to an extruding direction are provided at intervals. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd restrictor 4 is provided at a resin inlet 1 running toward a die lip 3 through the 1st restrictor 5 on which shorter rails 6 at the back of a manifold 2 and parallel to an extruding direction are equipped on both sides than in the central portion and wider distances are taken between the rails as the rails go from the central portion to both sides. The passage of the 2nd restrictor 4 is made shallower than that of the 1st restrictor 5. The resin running in the 1st restrictor 5 in a laminar flow and in stable parallel stream lines is compressed by the 2nd restrictor 4, attached closely by adequate lateral flows, homogenized remarkably and extruded from the die lip 3.
