PURPOSE:To ensure a reproduction of a high-quality color picture by performing a long-time level control with every field and a fine level control within the field period in the level control circuit which give a level control tothe carrier chrominance signal in the reproduced video signal supplied from the video tape recorder or the like. CONSTITUTION:The reproduced video signal sent from the input terminal 12 is supplied to the gain control amplifier 13 through the automatic color control circuit ACC11 and is then delivered 14. And part of the output signal is sent to the adder 18 by the LPF17 and in the form of the chroma level control signal of a long time. At the same time, the detector of the wave detector branched off from the LPF17 is sent to the adder 18 via the comblike filter circuit 20, and the level variation signal added to the output of the LPF17 is supplied to the gain control amplifier 13. This level variation signal is produced from the signal which performs a long-time level control with every field as well as a fine level control within the field period. With this control, a high-quality color image can be reproduced. |
