PURPOSE:To contrive the great reduction of the installation cost and the improvement of the working rate, by installing the skin pass work roll unit and the tension leveler work unit respectively comprising the roll chock, constituted so as to be freely detachable and interchangeable mutually in the housing. CONSTITUTION:The rolling mill is composed of the skin pass work rolls 4, 5, borne by the roll chocks 2, 3, freely detachably set in the housing, the movable backup rolls 8, 8, the guide rolls 11, 12, the cylinder 9, the screw 10, etc.; this rolling mill is employed as the skin pass mill for rolling the strip 13. When this rolling mill is employed as the tension leveler, above stated roll chocks 2, 3, are substituted by the tension leveler work unit comprising the roll chocks 14, 15, freely detachably installed in the housing 1, and the strip 13 is wound around outside of the backup rolls 8, 8, and is rolled. By the present constitution, the installation cost can be greatly reduced. |
