发明名称 Process for burning chlorinated organic substances
摘要 The amount of molecular chlorine present in the flue gases formed in the combustion of chlorinated organic substances can be reduced by injecting a certain amount of hydrogen into the rapid cooling zone of the combustion furnace or incinerator. The amount of hydrogen used depends on the amount of air introduced into the combustion zone, which is fixed to ensure an oxygen excess of 1-40%. When the wall temperature in the combustion zone is about 800-1500 degrees C, the temperature at which hydrogen is introduced into the rapid-cooling zone is about 450-1000 degrees C. Hydrogen chloride, which is formed from the molecular chlorine and the hydrocarbons, is washed out by water more easily than chlorine, so that flue gases with a lower impurity level are obtained. <IMAGE>
