PURPOSE:To provide a water ink which has writeability unaccompanied by blotting, holds good ink furnishing properties and can be written smoothly, by a method wherein a fluorine-contg. surfactant is incorporated with an aq. soln. of a water- soluble dye. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble dye, an antiseptic agent, an anionic or a nonionic surfactant and, if necessary, a water-soluble resin are blended with an aq. solvent consisting mainly of water, obtd. by adding 5-20wt% of at least one water-soluble polyhydric alcohol selected from a glycol solvent such as ethylene glycol, a Cellosolve solvent such as ethyl cellosolve and a glycol ether ester solvent such as ethylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate to water. To the resulting ink compsn. is added a small amount of a fluorine-contg. surfactant to obtain the desired water ink compsn. Examples of the fluorine-contg. surfactants are a fluorinated sodium lauryl sulfate and a polyoxyethylene perfluorolauryl ether. |
