PURPOSE:To reduce fluctuation of copied paper size, by stopping feed of an original till completion of copying operation of a preceding original, when a next original is not inserted within a set time. CONSTITUTION:When the first original passes through second detection switch SW2, timer T is actuated, the second original is inserted within its delay time DELTAt, the first detection switch SW1 is pushed, the first conveying roller 12 is driven to bring the original into the machine, and thus a continuous copying operation is made. When the second original is not inserted within time DELTAt, switch SW1 does not close, the third, and the fourth detection switches SW3, SW4 are successively turned off by conveyance of the first original, and relay RY3 is turned off. Accordingly, transfer operation mechanism 20 functions reversely to the above mentioned process, feed of the second original is stopped till completion of copying operation of the first original, thus permitting fluctuation of copied paper size to be controlled to the minimum. |
