PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of an original pressure contacting device owing to excessive load by providing means of releasing the engagement between a pressure contact member and an arm when more than a predetermined extent of load is applied upon the original pressure contacting member. CONSTITUTION:A click plate 6 which intermediates the joining relation of an arm 7 and a pressure plate 1 is provided, and the click plate 6 which receives an engaging member 5 is provided with an oblong groove 6a which slidably engages the engaging member 5. This oblong groove is the groove notched from the end of the click plate 6, and absorbs the mutual position deviations when the turning center 2 of the pressure plate 1 and the turning center 10 of the arm 7 are not on the same axis. The leading end and trailing end of this click plate 6 are held to the arm 7 by the click receiving member 8 secured to the leading end of the arm 7 in the state that it is engaged with the oblong groove 6a, and the click spring 9 mounted to the arm. As a result, when excessive load is applied upon the pressure plate, the engagement state of the pressure plate and the arm may be released and the breakage of the pressure contacting device may be prevented. |
