PROCEDEU PENTRU FABRICAREA 1-(1-NAFTOXI) 3-IZOPROPILAMINO-2-PROPANOLULUI

<p>1-(1-naphthoxy)-3- isopropylamino-2-propanol is prepared by reaction between sodium ???-naphtholate and ???-epichlorhydrin followed by condensation with isopropylamine. The etherifying reaction is carried out by adding aqueous sodium ???-naphtholate to ???-epichlorhydrin in a molar ratio of 1:2 at a temperature of 80-90 DEG C (preferably 85-90 DEG C); the unreacted ???-epichlorhydrin is removed by continuous azeotropic distillation and the resulting intermediate is condensed with isopropylamine in 70% aqueous solution under reflux, excess isopropylamine being removed by distillation at atmospheric pressure; the 1-(1-naphthoxy)-3-isopropylamino- 2-propanol product is then extracted with toluene at 40-60 DEG C and is separated from the toluenic solution by filtration after dehydration, hot filtration and cooling to -10 DEG C.</p>
