Overflow regulator between different level water pools - has float controlled funnel in tank in larger vat, with pipe connections

Provision for regulating overflow is built in between two ponds and/or basins which have different levels of water. A watertight vat (1) is used. It is of height extending over the difference in levels of water surface (16,17) between the two pools and holds a narrower and lower overflow container (3) with an overflow funnel held so as to move up and down on one or more floats (9). This is adjoined by a pipe duct (17) near its bottom, leading into the vat. The container has an inflow pipe socket (7) below the funnel edge (8a) in its bottom position, while the vat hat an outflow pipe socket below the top container edge (3a). This can be prefabricated for building in, affording simple regulation with low noise level.
