PURPOSE:To extend the service lives of machine part and to reduce power consumption and noise, by detecting discharged copied sheets in a delivery section, and changing-over a standby state to a running state in reply to its detection signal. CONSTITUTION:In a machine for binding transcripts or their abstracts, or the like machine, copied sheets charged from the inlet are passed by sensors S1, S2, folded with folder 1, passed by sensor S3, stacked orderly in stacking section 2, and discharged with discharger 10. Sensors S4, S6 detect the copied sheets, and sensor S5 is contrived so as to be turned on an off with a cam mounted on a shaft interlocked with batcher 5, thus permitting this machine to be prevented from coming into an running state without processing the copied sheets because detecting them in the delivery section starts operation, and consequently, the service lives of the machine parts to be extended, power consumption to be saved, and noise to be reduced. |
