The roof ventilator for an air-conditioning system gives horizontal and vertical air discharge, having an automatic adjusting member throttling or shutting off the horizontal air flow automatically during heating. The actuating mechanism (9) for the member is a drive functioning dependent on the temperature of the air current and the outlet (2), being typically an expanding component acting on the vanes (3,4) forming the adjusting member. The vanes can be pendulum-mounted in an outlet slot, with the actuating mechanism between them.
