<p>Thermosetting lacquer mixts contain (i) OH gp- contg epoxy resins, (A), melting at 40-120 deg C, and, (ii) as hardeners, (B) isophorone diisocyanate adducts contg urea-, biuret-, carbodiimide-, urethane- and/or isocyanurate gps blocked, partly or entirely, with epsylon-caprolactam. Wt ratio (A):(B) is such that 0.2-1.1 (0.3-0.7) equiv NCO are available for 1 OH-equiv. Hardening takes place at 150-250 (170-200) deg C. The mixts opt contain catalysts and standard additives. Mixts is used as (a) powder lacquer coatings, after homogenising and grinding to grain-size below 0.25 (below 0.1)mm, and (b) 1-component stoving lacquers, in solvents. The lacquer mixts have high storage stability. The hardened coatings are flexible and resistant to chemicals.</p> |
