The combustion engine fuel injector comprises two parallel valve needles (5,6) arranged in independent pressure chambers (7,8) in the nozzle body (1). Their closure springs (11,13) are contained in a common spring chamber (9) in the nozzle holder (3). One needle (6) has its spring (13) arranged directly above it, whilst the spring (11) of the other needle (5) is positioned at a level above the spring (13) and connected to its needle (5) via a small-diameter push rod (12) parallel to the spring (13). The spring (11), may be contained in a blind bore (10) which communicates with the chamber (9) and acts as guide for the spring support disc (17) at the top of the rod.
