Fluid reservoir for master brake cylinder - has plastic reservoir moulded directly over metal cylinder

The master brake cylinder has a plastics moulded reservoir (14) with a bottom moulding (13) to encase the metal cylinder (1). This eliminates difficult and costly connections and seals between the reservoir and the cylinder and provides a one piece fitting. The reservoir can be moulded directly over the cylinder, leaving pressure connections (12) and fluid filling ports (6) in simple layouts. The moulding can be extended to include the main housing (16) of a pneumatic servo cylinder.
