<p>The conveyor system is designed to remove oblong slag heaps (15), and includes a horizontal beam (8) which can be moved on rails (14) on either side of the slag heap. The beam (8) locates a star-shaped rake (4,5) whose top arm end (26) is attached to an outrigger support (2). The ends of the other two rake arms are located by a trolley (30) which moves on the horizontal beam (8). The total end face of the slag heap can thus be reached by the rake arms. The loose material slides down the inclined face (1) onto the conveyor belt (6) below the beam.</p> |
