<p>The fixing unit is used for vehicle doors. A door holder rod is used which swivels on a doorpost. It has a double-sided curved section, and passes through a housing accommodating two brake units, rolling on its broad sides. They move across the plane of movement of the rod against spring loading. The cylindrical brake roller units (12) are rotatably mounted in the retainers (13c) braced against the housing sidewalls (21), only over the external periphery of the outside end areas of their length. The retainer recesses accommodating them may be slightly widened at the centre. The brake rollers run reliably and quietly even after prolonged wear and dirt collection.</p> |
