The magazine has a number of dispensing columns arranged in the kitchen top cupboards as inner and outer sets respectively adjacent the kitchen wall and the cupboard door. A stepping motor is positioned between the two sets, driven by a spindle motor and a spindle to move along a longitudinal guide rail into alignment with a specific column. Pref. the movement of the stepping motor between the two column sets is controlled by a programme device, with setting fingers projecting above and below the motor fitting into corresponding holes in upper and lower sliding bolts for each aligned pair of columns, to allow dispensing.
