The arrangement is intended for preventing accidents to children or others at risk in traffic. It consists of a raised identifying sign which is carried on a rod (3) fitting in a pocket (2) secured to an article of clothing. The conical pocket (2) is provided in a large-area retaining element (5) which can be secured to a jacket or coat and may be in the form of a butterfly or the like. The wings become thinner towards their edges and are provided with holes (6) for sewing to the clothing or with press studs (7) for releasably securing to the clothing.
