The coupling device is for a light wave guide used for data transmission. The light is injected or extracted from the liqht wave at specific areas of curvature. The light wave guide has a sheathing made from fabric with a coarse structure. A section of the guide (1) is curved inside an attenuating device (2,3) made from transparent material. The attenuator is made with a coupling or decoupling device (5). The attenuation coefficient can be varied. The decoupling device is a photo diode. |
