<p>The hand-operated control valve has a slide movable between two working positions and a neutral position in between them. The slide is held in the working positions by a locking device in opposition to a spring, being released if the pressure exceeds the safe level, whereupon the spring returns it to the neutral position. The locking device and release mechanism are easily replaceable, being accommodated on an extension of the slide and in a component screwed onto the valve housing. The device can comprise balls sliding radially and engaging in grooves in which they are held by a locking member, being movable freely in the radial direction when released.</p> |
