The throttle flap seals on both sides over the entire range of overpressures and consists of a suction tube piece and a disc that rotates eccentrically by means of a control spindle and a bolt. A toroidal sealing seat can move axially inside a through-flow channel of the tube piece. The seal seat has a conical sealing face on its inner periphery. The channel has end-stops to limit the axial movement of the sealing seat. The disc has a sealing ring on its outer periphery that mates with the conical sealing face of the seat.
