PURPOSE:To insure copying while multicopying or double-sided, synthetic copying is being executed by continuously displaying the number of copying actions permitted after the full state of toner is detected. CONSTITUTION:The titled machine is provided with a toner recovery device recovering toner untransferred onto a transfer sheet and remaining on the surface of a photosensitive body, and a toner full detecting sensor detecting that the quantity of toner contained in the container of the recovery device exceeds a prescribed limit. When toner full signals are input from the detecting sensor, counting residual possible copies starts, and the counted value in response to signals from the counting means is displayed. Thus users can always confirm the number of residual possible copies after the detection of the full state of toner. As a result, such trouble can be evaded that copying actions are inhibited when multicopying or double-sided, synthetic copying is executed. |
