BOILING*COOLING TYPE SEMICONDUCTOR RECTIFIER

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the high performance rectifier without stractural restriction by employing a refrigerant which boils below the allowable temperature of the semiconductor while maintaining the pressure in a closed vessel at the boiling point below the atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerant which boils below the allowable temperature of the semiconductor (for example, 150 deg.C) while maintaining the pressure in the closed vessel at the boiling point below the atmospheric pressure. This eliminates the need for division of the closed vessel regardless of increase in the capacity of the rectifier. In other words, as the rectifier thus obtained is free from legal restriction as a high pressure vessel, a low-cost compact cooling system can be constructed with an excellent cooling capacity thereby improving the performance of the device.
