PURPOSE:To simplify the attachment and detachment of a spare tire by forming one of the hanger clamps arranged in parallel into a hanger system whose shaft is energized upwardly by means of a spring. CONSTITUTION:To a cross member 1 on the rear side of a vehicle body, a hanger system 10 is attached in parallel with a well-known screw-operated hanger clamp 2. The hanger system 10 comprises a hook 15 to catch a rear-side lever 6 of a spare- tire carrier bar 5, a shaft 17 to pivotably hold the hook 15 through a connecting member 16, and a spring 18 to energize the shaft 17 upwardly in the normal state. This prevents a spare tire to be held or removed simply by operating the screw of one hanger clamp 2, and by simply pulling downwardly, the hook 15 of the hanger system 10 can be connected or disconnected with the rear-side lever 6 of the spare- tire carrier. |
