PURPOSE:To provide a subject material having a high heat-sensitiveness in which toluenesulfonamide and N-alkyl-N',N'-ethylene urea are contained in a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing leuco and other coloring components, and an explicit picture can be recorded even if recording is performed at a high-speed. CONSTITUTION:Under-mentioned two materials are contained in a heat-sensitive coloring layer which contains as coloring components leucoes of dyes, such as colorless or light shade of triphenylmethane at the normal temperature and the like, and organic or phenol material which is caused to color resulting from heat-reaction to said leucoes, the one of said two materials being trluenesulfonamide and the other N-alkyl-N',N'-ethylene urea (for example; N-octadecyl-N',N'-ethylene urea). Said heat-sensitive coloring agentf material is then mixed with additive agent, which is commonly used with resin binder, to produce a heat-sensitive coloring layer forming liquid, and said liquid is applied to a supporter, such as papers, synthetic papers, etc., for drying to obtain a desired heat-sensitive recording material. |
