The present invention relates to substituted quinolizidine and indolizidine derivatives having anticholinergic, antihistamic, antitussive and analgetic activities and to a process for producing the same. It has been found that the substituted quinolizidine and indolizidine derivatives having the following formula wherein A represents a phenyl group or a 2-thienyl group and n is an integer of 3 or 4 and pharmaceutically accepted acid addition salts thereof as well as quarternary salts thereof, exhibit strong anticholinergic activity but have extremely low side effects.
