[Also in Division F2G] A structural connector consists of a block 13 having projecting posts with resilient grippers 15, 16, 17, 18 which secure square-section tubes 10, 11, 12 when these are rotated so that the grippers bear against the flats of the tubes. The grippers may be transverse as shown in Fig. 1, or they may lie in axial grooves as shown in Fig. 4. These axial ribs may be integral with the posts (Fig. 5, not shown) and may be serrated. If desired a locking detent pressed into the tube may engage a notch in the rib (Fig. 6, not shown). If desired, Fig. 9, there may be two integral ribs 28a, 29a, and two resilient inserts 30a, 31a.
