PURPOSE:To prevent a display error by arranging so that the tuning direction cannot be indicated in case the electric field is weak, in the indicator which displays a tuning state of the receiver by means of a flashing state of plural display elements. CONSTITUTION:A part of the intermediate frequency signal is applied to the muting controlling circuit 12 after it has been amplified by the narrow-band amplifiers 10, 11, and the muting circuit 7 is controlled to on-state and off-state by a signal of this circuit 12. On the other hand, an S curve output A, a muting control signal B, and a signal C according to the receiving signal level are input already in the driving unit 13 of the display element 14, and flashing of plural display elements 14a- 14n is controlled by an output of this driving circuit 13. And the signal level is set approx. 1dB higher than the muting level decided by the volume control VR2 for setting the muting by adjusting the volume control VR1 for setting the signal level, so that all the display elements 14a-14n can be turned off in case the electric field is weak. |
