PURPOSE:To enable to recover a heat contained in the exhaust gas of a waste incineration plant no only as heat to preheat the air to be sent to a waste incineration furnace, but also as an electric power. CONSTITUTION:As operation time of a waste incineration furnace 20 elapses, the exhaust gas temperature rises gradually. As a result, in accordance therewith, compressed air passing through an air passage 29 is heated in a 1st heat exchanger 30 and its temperature rises gradually. In this process, the operational state of a turbine 26 was initially in a driven side by the admission of a pressure fan 34, but it moves into a driving side gradually. As a result, the load of the pressure fan 34 or a motor 35 becomes smaller gradually. At a point when those loads move from the positive to the negative, a switching system 37 is automatically closed and thereafter, admission to the turbine 26 through an admission passage 36 is stopped. Compressed air passing through a 1st heat exchanger 30 enters the turbine 26 in a high temperature and high pressure state, and the output of the turbine 26 is consumed as a driving force of a compressor 27. |
