PURPOSE:To obtain a thin positive molded body with a high packed density and an accurate weight which has not any nick or the like and has a strength, by adding a lopidographite having a given particle-size distribution to a silver-oxide powder having a given bulk density. CONSTITUTION:A positive mixture 1 is prepared by adding 1-3wt% of a lopidographite, not less than 90% of which has a particle size below 30mu, to a silver- oxide powder whose bulk density is 1.8-4.0g/cm<3>. For instance, 97.5pts. of a silver-oxide powder whose bulk density is 2.5g/cm<3>, and 1.7pts. of a fine lopidographite, 92% of which has a particle size below 30mu (8% of which has a particle size over 30mu), are mixed with a solvent solution which contains 0.8pt of polystyrene. The mixture is kneaded with a mixer and dried to prepare a submolded mixture 1, before it is compressed and packed into a positive case 4 together with a ring 3. Through the means mentioned above, the mixture 1 flows smoothly, and a molded body with a high packed density and an accurate weight which has not any nick or the like can be obtained. Accordingly, the positive molded body provides a small internal resistance and a high discharge performance. |
