PURPOSE:To obtain a magnet material with superior magnetic characteristics by mixing an Ni-B alloy into Fe-Cr-Co alloy powder having a specified component ratio so that the B content is adjusted to a specific percentage followed by forming and sintering at a predetermined temp. CONSTITUTION:Ni-B alloy powder is mixed into Fe-Cr-Co alloy powder consisting of 15-40% Cr, 10-30% Co, and the balance Fe and impurities so that the B content is adjusted to 0.03-0.5%. The mixture is press formed and sintered at >=1,200 deg.C to obtain a permanent magnet. To the Fe-Cr-Co alloy may be added <=5% one or more among Ti, Nb, Al, V, Mo and W. In case the oxygen content of the alloy powder is high, <=1% C powder is added to enhance the magnetism. When a high Co alloy is used, it is effective to blend <=3% Si. |
