PURPOSE:Starch food waste from, e.g., old rice stored over two years, are mixed with a squeezed lees of ''Shochu'', distilled Japanese sake, and they are treated under high temperature and pressure to produce pelletlike feed with high content of protein. CONSTITUTION:Starch food wastes from, e.g., old rice stored over 2 years or wheat, are mixed with almost the same or a little excessive amount of squeeze lees of ''Shochu'' and they are stood for several days. After the starch food wastes become a slurry and the squeezed lees of ''Shochu'' dissolves into a homogeneous solution, the mixture is heated under high temperature and pressure to produce pelletlike feed. |
