PURPOSE:To attain a target measurement angle of high precision by compensating the asymmetry of antenna characteristics due to an optical system or others, by an amplitude-phase adjusting mechanism consisting of a variable amplifier and variable phase shifter of a receiving circuit. CONSTITUTION:The amplitude and phase of a received signal from half array 31 are adjusted by variable amplifier 11 and variable phase shifter 12 to those of a received signal from half array 32. As a result, a reflected signal in the main beam direction has no difference signal entering receiver 82. Therefore, when a target in the main beam direction is tracked, a drop of a difference signal to an angle change is sufficiently deep in the main beam direction and the zero point is never shifted from its original point, so that an ideal target measurement angle can be attained. |
