<p>The wood burning stove with a cooking chamber has a rectangular base forming the combustion chamber and a half cylindrical top forming the chamber. The whole is enclosed by a metal casing. Inside, the chamber is formed by a half cylindrical refractory lining with end plates and refractory base. Underneath this base plate is a grid which carries the fuel, the hot gases passing around a space between the outer shell and the refractory lining to a chimney on top, containing a damper. At one end is a door for access to the cooking chamber and at one side is a door for access to the combustion chamber. Another design has two doors at the side for the cooking chamber, and two doors below them, for access to the combustion chamber. Also fitted are an ash pan and access door, also a flap controlling air entry.</p> |
