The installation is for existing glazing units with panes of normal silicate glass. It includes conversion bars for T-profile supports designed to accommodate multiple translucent panels. The plastics sheath element follows the contours of the T-profile vertical shank in the upper part. In the lower part it crosses over into symmetrical shanks splayed at an angle, with edges for seating on the normal glass panes. On their edge parts there are multiple upward facing supports. The inside face of the part of the sheath following the upright shank has protruding units of equal height.
