<p>The dirigible, particularly for fire-fighting, has an upper part which supports a balloon (6) full of low density gas, held in position by adjustable straps (7). Wings (13) containing shutters (14) are pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis which can occupy at least two positions, one horizontal and one vertical. An intermediate part includes a cockpit (27) and the fuel tanks (28) for the four vertically fixed jet-engines (10) and the two horizontally mounted jet-engines (12) which can pivot about a vertical axis. A lower part houses cargo space filled by e.g. water tanks (29).</p> |
