PURPOSE:To indicate the tuning state clearly, by providing a set of plural arranged indicating elements in the receiver which receives signals different in modulation system. CONSTITUTION:For receiving of the FM signal, the reference voltage for polarity comparison and the S curve signal voltage are input to polarity detecting circuit 34, and simultaneously, the muting signal is input. Since tuning shift and the shift direction are detected on a basis of the difference between the reference voltage and the S curve signal voltage under the state where a signal can be detected (muting is turned off), the lighting direction indication signal is given to decoder 50 to light indicating elements successively, and the tuning shift direction is clarified. For receiving of the AM signal, indicating elements are operated as a level meter according to the magnitude of the input signal. |
