PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the cross feed, by constituting the core piece at recording head side with a magnetic material of high magnetic flux density and constituting the core piece at another side with a magnetic material of high permeability, in the playback head core for composite type magnetic heads. CONSTITUTION:The core 22 for recording head and the core 21 for reproducing head are located by closing them for their side surfaces, two split core pieces 22a, 22b at recording head side are constituted with high magnetic flux density material, such as high magnetic flux density ferrite, a core piece 21a at recording head out of two split core pieces 21a, 21b of the core 21 for reproducing head is also constituted with a magnetic material of high magnetic flux density, and the core piece 21a at different side from the recording head is constituted with a magnetic material of high permeability. |
